About Us

Sherri obtained her masters degree in clinical mental health counseling from Minnesota State University, Moorhead, and a certificate in Alcohol and Drug Counseling from California State University Dominguez Hills.

She is licensed as both a professional clinical counselor (LPCC), and a licensed alcohol and drug counselor (LADC) in the state of MN.

Sherri began her career in the counseling field working in various rehabilitative treatment settings and institutions serving individuals struggling with substance use disorders. Over the course of time, she began to understand the prevailing complexities of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders as well as the link to childhood trauma. Most importantly, she discovered the role spirituality and integrating faith plays in healing the whole person; body, mind and spirit.

Sherri provides services to adults and couples, who are experiencing serious and persistent mental illness, depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, as well as extensive trauma histories. She utilizes a person-centered approach consisting of various evidence-based modalities such as CBT and Narrative Therapy, although her specialty is utilizing an integrated faith-based/spiritual model and inner child healing.

Alexis brings a spirit of excellence and service. With a background in factory work, welding, and a technical degree in electrical technology, she embodies resilience, precision, and a strong work ethic.

Her diverse background allows her to approach each task with problem-solving insight, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt in fast paced environments. At Prosperous Soul, Alexis supports our clients and mission with warmth, compassion, dedication, organization and reliability. She is often the first friendly voice you hear, ensuring every interaction is welcoming, clear, and stress-free.
